Steven Williams is the Music Buyer and Assistant General Manager of Down in the Valley, an independent record store in Minneapolis, Minnesota with two store locations. He is also the founder and CEO of Init Records, an independent Metal and Hardcore record label that has over 100 releases on multiple formats for bands worldwide, including Melt-Banana, P.O.S., William Elliott Whitmore, Amenra, Rosetta, and a Juno award-winning album from KEN Mode. Williams has 23 years of music retail experience and 22 years of record label experience.
