Ron Stuve is VP of A&R for Universal Music Publishing Group, where he specifically develops film and television opportunities for UMPG’s Nashville’s songs and artists and functions as an in-house A&R person for UMPG artist and writers. Stuve has worked with artists such as Sam Hunt, Jake Owen, and Matt Thomas of the band Parmalee, and has developed songwriters Cole Taylor, Mikey Reaves, and Jeremy Bussey, among others. Prior to joining UMPG in 2007, Stuve held a number of management and executive positions with AMR Publications/New Haven Musc and BMG. In 2005, he graduated from Leadership Music and became a member of the Board for the Nashville Chapter of The Recording Academy.
