John E. Kelly is CEO of Entertainment Financial Services, a financial consulting firm specializing in the entertainment industry. Kelly’s past and current clients include multi-platinum selling recording artists in all genres, athletes and coaches in both the NBA and NFL, and not-for-profit organizations ranging from $500,000 to $500,000,000 in annual revenue. Kelly is an expert in matters pertaining to the creation, exploitation and accounting for record masters, song copyrights, book manuscripts and video masters, as well as a published author of articles on financial matters related to intellectual property and not-for-profit management issues. Prior to his current role, he spent eight years with Certified Public Accounting firms and three years as the CFO of Forefront Records, an Independent Record Label and division of Capitol Christian Music Group.
