JJ Rosen is an experienced music industry executive and a successful tech entrepreneur, who currently serves as EVP of Music Strategy & Industry Relations for Splice. In this role, he develops relationships with external music companies and oversees the company’s partnerships with established and emerging artists. Rosen joined Splice after its acquisition of Indaba Music, where he had served as CEO.
Prior to his time with Splice and Indaba, he served as EVP of Sony Music Entertainment’s Commercial Music Group after Sony acquired Run Tones, the company he co-founded which served as the foundation for Sony Music’s mobile music business. Rosen also co-founded and served as President of N2K, Inc., a publicly traded music company that merged into CDNow and was later acquired by Bertelsmann.
