Dan Zaccagnino is the Head of Content at Splice, a cloud-based music creation and collaboration platform. Zaccagnino focuses on developing and executing Splice’s music content strategy across the company and works with music creators and sample label partners to create innovative, content-driven business opportunities. He oversees the Splice Sounds catalog of over three million samples, as well as the company's content strategy and partnerships, in-house sample labels, content merchandising and marketing, and catalog operations.
Prior to his role at Splice, Zaccagnino co-founded Indaba Music, a pioneer company in online music collaboration, major artist remix competitions, and the online sample library. Indaba was acquired by Splice in 2017. At Indaba, Zaccagnino worked on innovative remix and derivative works projects with artists and brands including Usher, Chainsmokers, Christina Aguilera, Converse, Red Bull, The Roots, Snoop Dogg, Sony Electronics, Peter Gabriel, Linkin Park, Yo-Yo Ma, Microsoft, Paul Simon, Bacardi, The NFL, Hertz, T-Pain, and more.
