Wendy Day
Rap Coalition Founder
Atlanta
Wendy Day is the Founder of Rap Coalition, an organization that helps negotiate deals for Hip-Hop artists and advocates for artists who have little to no leverage in the Urban music business. Day has worked with many artists including Eminem, Tupac, Twista, Do Or Die, David Banner, Slick Rick, Boosie, Webbie, Fiend, C-Murder, Trouble, Lil Donald and many more. She played a crucial role in shopping and negotiating the deals of Master P's song, “No Limit”, as well as the music of Cash Money, Eminem, Twista, David Banner, and many others. Her clients have sold over a billion records during her 27-year career. In addition to negotiating many deals for artists and creating millionaires in the industry, Day now consults on building independent record labels, as well as writes a series of how-to books and music resources to help artists excel. Day is currently building an educational website to teach artists about how to make money with their music (SlavesNoMore.com) and just received the funding to start an incubator for independent Rappers looking to start labels.
