As President of the Jerry Lembo Entertainment Group, Jerry Lembo serves as a music business consultant overseeing radio and social media campaigns and provides management consultation to independent and aspiring artists. An active member of the New York Chapter of The Recording Academy, Music Mangers Forum-US, Association of Independent Music Publishers and National Association of Recording Industry Professionals, he is frequently called upon as a guest speaker at local colleges that have Music Business courses and as a judge for talent competitions. Lembo and his company have been awarded or nominated for over a dozen industry awards and received Gold and Platinum plaques for their efforts in support of Shania Twain, Norah Jones, Lenny Kravitz and Jason Mraz to name a few. During his tenure at Columbia Records (1986-1997), he received numerous executive awards including the label’s 1988 Promotion Person of the Year and back to back Billboard Top 40/Crossover Label Promotion Awards in 1988/1989. He was responsible for overseeing promotional campaigns that led to record breaking airplay and chart history for Grammy Award winners and multiplatinum artists Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, George Michael, Harry Connick Jr., Kenny Loggins, Mariah Carey, Michael Bolton, Neil Diamond, New Kids On The Block, Shawn Colvin and more.
