Free “Da’Dreamer” Smith is Director for Artist Financial Program, a program developed to assist creatives to pursue artistic endeavors and succeed by providing financial opportunities. Smith has served as the Head of R&B for Blaze Entertainment, a Partner of Pop Life Entertainment, and as a staff writer and producer for EMI Publishing. He has also held positions such as SVP of A&R and Operations for AVS/Lightyea/WEA Records, Head of Production and A&R for Rock Solid Records, and as a producer, writer, and image consultant in developing the Hooters franchise Pop group, UC3. Smith was the VP of the urban division of Highland Publishing before becoming the Head of A&R for Vintertainment Records. He contributed to the score of Vincent Davis’s industry based documentary film, How They Get Down. Smith worked with the Lalabella Music Group as a producer, writer, and mentor to young artists, as well as with Lizzie Grubman PR and Management as their Head of the music department. 


Smith is also a writer, producer and former artist. He has worked as a stage manager and back-up musician for R&B group Unlimited Touch. Smith is a talented MC who performed in the rap group,Dueces Wild before helping to dorm the R&B/Dance group, Touch. The group produced massive hit single, “Without You.” Smith also formed the duo Entouch with Eric McCain. He went on to work with artists such as Keith Sweat, Nice & Smooth, and Prince, and contributed to the soundtracks for the movies New Jack City and Strictly Business. Smith took his talents to Hip-Hop, working with artists such as M.O.P, Doug E Fresh, Big Pun, and Cam’ron before moving to the business side of the industry.
