Doors open at 7 pm. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. The program will begin promptly at 7:30 pm. All attendees must present badge for entrance for security purposes. There will be no exceptions.


Every year, Music Biz gathers to celebrate the artistic, executive and philanthropic achievements of those in our industry who continue to push the bar of excellence forward. Join us as we celebrate those artists whose music has impacted the lives of countless fans, those industry executives who have helped pave a path of sustained success for the industry as a whole, and those among us who strive to make our world a better place through their platform.


Receiving honors at the event will be Bebe Rexha and Kane Brown (Breakthrough Artist Awards); Sony Music Nashville Chairman and CEO Randy Goodman (Presidential Award for Outstanding Executive Achievement); industry innovator, songwriter, and Co-Founder of The Orchard Richard Gottehrer (Outstanding Achievement Award); Record Archive owners Richard Storms and Alayna Alderman (Independent Spirit Award); Darius Rucker (Harry Chapin Memorial Humanitarian Award); and Peter Frampton (Chairman’s Award for Sustained Creative Achievement).


This year’s ceremony will see the induction of the late Sir George Martin into the Music Business Hall of Fame by his son Giles Martin. The 2019 Hall of Fame class also includes major labels Atlantic Records and Capitol Records; independent label Sub Pop; industry executives Ahmet Ertegun, Herb Abramson and Miriam Abramson; music industry landmarks the Apollo Theatre, CBGB, Hitsville U.S.A., Sun Studio, and the Troubadour; and Rolling Stone magazine.
