Bill Gagnon is SVP of Business Development for the Digital Strategy and Technology division of Universal Music Group, where he leads on commercial implementation of technology initiatives. Gagnon has over 20 years of diverse music business experience in finance, sales and marketing, and has strong knowledge of working with entertainment content. Prior to joining UMG in 2013, Gagnon worked for EMI Music and spent six years as the head of the company’s Catalogue Division. In this role, he led initiatives for The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Frank Sinatra, The Beach Boys, Snoop Dogg and Megadeth, among others.
