As a YouTube Product Specialist, Alex Holz works to solve musicians and labels mechanical licensing obstacles via Limelight (www.songclearance.com), an online clearance utility launched in 2009 to help artists and labels clear cover songs in the United States.

Prior to Google’s acquisition of RightsFlow, Holz served as VP of Artist and Community Relations, where he served as client liaison and shepherded development of Limelight from launch to present. Before RightsFlow, Holz was Licensing Director at The Orchard, helping implement value-added platform Orchard Music Services for labels.
